Ethics Training

The Ethics Training is a virtual, automated course that provides an overview of the Baltimore City Public Ethics Law. Topics covered in the course include conflicts of interest, restrictions on secondary employment, restrictions on gifts, and ethics enforcement, among others. 

The Ethics Law requires all City officials to complete the training. The Ethics Board encourages all City employees to take the course

1) Self-Enroll on Workday

The Ethics Training is provided as a self-paced course on Workday for City employees and some board members.

You can self-enroll in the training at any time via your Workday account. Self-enrollment on Workday is the most convenient way to enroll in the training. Click the instructions below to learn about enrolling directly on Workday.

Alternatively, submit the form below and Ethics Board staff will enroll you in the training on Workday on the first of next month. Upon enrollment, you will have the entire month to complete the training.

2) Request Enrollment on Workday

To determine your employee ID number, sign in to your Workday account. Your ID number is at the top next to your name.
Some board members are issued a City ID number and email address, and have access to Workday. To determine your ID number, sign in to your  Workday Account. Your ID number is at the top next to your name.
